Our friend Elsie that we had met the last time we were here, invited us over for the day. It was a fun day for him and us. Auntie Elsie played games with him, we had our first BIG poop (well, he did), we think we heard "momma" come out of his mouth and he was introduced some new foods. After a nice lunch with her kids, Auntie Elsie taught Johanna how to wrap Isaiah up into a traditional Rwandese 'baby carrier'. We then headed out for a walk around the neighborhood... with some more interesting stares from the locals. You can see from the pictures below that he quite enjoyed it.

He does look like he enjoyed himself. Is that easy on your back?

ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy giving you a great first night sleep and what a natural you look Johanna in your wrap.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying following your journey for Isaiah, praising God for each little victory, anticipating a great celebration at the final one, squealing over the pictures, laughing at his great imitation of Daddy and loving hearing about the whole bonding process!
